Armor Venue was already getting some pretty good traffic (around 600-800 visitors a day) when they signed up for a full service seo package. The site’s title tags, meta tags, content, and linking structure was already optimized so they wanted a strong linking campaign for 14 new keywords on top of the 23 they signed up to maintain.
These keywords were mostly medium-competition keywords which usually takes 6-8 months to rank, with the exception of a few of them which were high-competition keywords (taking 9-12 months to rank).
As of June 1, 2010 (less than 8 months after the campaign start) Armor Venue had some 28 first page positions on Google for their keywords. Some of those came up as quickly within 3 months.
